Aceites Virgen del Perpetuo Socorro
The Andalusian Cooperative Virgen del Perpetuo Socorro was established in 1958 and is located in the town of Alcaudete in the province of Jaén. Its main activity is obtaining extra virgin olive oil, and it can produce about 7.5 million kg of oil.
Virgen del Perpetuo Socorro has implemented a certified quality management system throughout the production process to achieve an extra virgin olive oil of exceptional quality.
At the oil mill, only Extra Virgin Olive oil is packaged under the Carrasqueño brand: natural olive juices obtained exclusively from selected, healthy fruit, harvested carefully at their optimum ripeness.
Virgen del Perpetuo Socorro offers you the option of getting to know the facilities and the entire production process for its oil, and you can also take part in the oil tastings it organises. They have a series of additional services to satisfy visitors: a “miller's” breakfast, a tour of olive estates, tasting, pairing and lunch with olive oil as the main ingredient.
At the oil tastings, you can learn the organoleptic characteristics of its olive oil through sight, smell, taste and touch. You can distinguish the different qualities and varieties of olive oil made by the cooperative. Visiting hours: Monday–Friday: 9 am to 2 pm and 4 to 7 pm. Saturday: 9 am to 2 pm.
