Pensión Granja Escuela Huerto Alegre

The Pensión Granja Escuela Huerto Alegre is a guesthouse consisting of a refurbished traditional Andalusian farmhouse that can accommodate up to 60 people. It is located in the Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama Nature Reserve, in a beautiful area known as Los Prados de Lopera, at an altitude of 1,200 m, equidistant from the Costa Tropical and Granada.

Cultural and environmental visits can be made to these places. There is a dining room, lounge with a fireplace, workrooms and spacious areas for group meetings and recreation.

The Pensión Granja Escuela Huerto Alegre is also equipped to organise environmental educational activities including ecology workshops, astronomy, environmental resources, laboratory, renewable energy, theatre, with farm animals (cows, horses, goats, sheep, chickens, etc) and there is an organic vegetable garden where participants can take part in sowing, cultivating and harvesting activities. Activities supervised by an interdisciplinary team.
