The tomb of José Mª El Tempranillo is located in the inner courtyard of the Church of the Immaculate Conception, in Alameda. Formerly there was the custom of burying the deceased in these ecclesiastical enclosures. The Patio Mausoleum, surrounded by arches and wrapped between flowers, houses inside the tomb crowned by a stone cross, with inscriptions, and an Andalusian roof covering a tile copy of his death certificate.
It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful enclaves, where the respect of the people for this mythical bandit, beauty and the purest Andalusian aesthetic, full of colors, and traditional architectural details come together.
It can be visited during the Museo del Campo Andaluz opening hours, a few meters from this place, or through a previous appointment by telephone.
