Centro de Interpretación del Paisaje y La Historia de Aguilar de la Frontera (CIPHAF)
The Landscape and History Interpretation Centre in Aguilar de la Frontera (CIPHAF) is located within the archaeological site of Cerro del Castillo and it forms a part of the tourism spaces network, the Montilla-Moriles Wine Route (Red Vinarea).
This multidisciplinary route offers themed itineraries based on history, archaeology and the landscape, exhibiting a first-class medieval site that uses its strategic location in the heart of the Campiña Alta area to consider the profile of the surrounding region.
Its features are distributed according to four spaces: welcome area, reception area, activities and projection/exhibition room, and a viewpoint terrace. If the exterior invites you to follow the routes marked by several explanatory panels, the interior is reserved for broadening knowledge via different multimedia screens, educational videos and exhibition sections.
Likewise, it has a multi-purpose centre linked to an auditorium that is located in the neighbouring quarry, which also enables the hosting of theatre programmes and events in general.
