Ermita de San Sebastián
Located in the coastal town of Adra and inside the borders of the Place of Cultural Interest Cerro de Montecristo, the Shrine of San Sebastián is a building laid out in the shape of a cross, built in 1680 and then rebuilt in 1751.
Inside it has important Roman remains from the salting workshops. It also has several tombstones found during an archaeological dig, which could mean that the cemetery in Roman times was situated near the shrine. This has yet to be confirmed archaeologically.
Inside it has the image of San Nicolás de Tolentino, the town's patron saint.
It is usually closed, and can only visited by pre-arranged appointment by calling 950403546.
Free admission.
