7th World Summit of Travel Agencies in Granada
The Spanish Confederation of Travel Agencies (CEAV) has announced the seventh edition of the World Summit of Travel Agencies Associations in Granada, on 8-10 November. This event, which will bring together almost a hundred travel associations from every continent, is a crucial forum for the global tourism industry.
Carlos Garrido, President of CEAV, highlighted the importance of this international gathering, and pointed out that it is "the most important event in the agency industry because it is the only time that the presidents of the global associations meet during the year".
It will offer a unique space to exchange ideas and experiences between leaders of Travel Agencies from across the globe.
The main topics of discussion will include the global recovery of tourism, sustainability, new trends and habits of post-pandemic consumers, as well as the sector's relationship with suppliers and technological innovation and legislation issues.
The two-day event will include presentations and round tables on these topics, with the participation of prominent representatives of the global tourism industry.
There will be a parallel programme of visits to the most iconic spots in Granada and its surroundings, which will enable attendees to discover the charms of this historic city and its rich culture.
The summit is supported by the Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Regional Government of Andalusia, Granada City Council and the Tourist Board of the Provincial Council of Granada, as well as regular partners of the CEAV.
This event will not only strengthen the position of Granada as a high-quality tourist destination, but it will also contribute to the promotion of tourism activity at a global level, consolidating the essential role of travel agencies as key middlemen in the tourism industry.
