Ruta del Pico de Vilo

As its name indicates, it marks the ascent to the peak of Vilo. In the first stop, you will find the Morrón del Águila. We will continue climbing the road next to the morrón del Gallo and the Tajos del Fraile, Gomer and Doña Ana. Continuing the journey, there is an Era of great interest landscape for the peculiarity of its stones embedded in the terrain. Once at the peak of Vilo (1415 m), you can appreciate places like Sierra Nevada, Maroma peak, Viñuela reservoir, the Mediterranean Sea and various villages of the Axarquia. It supposes certain difficulty because, despite not being very long, only 11.2 km, it reaches a height of 1415 m.
