Museo Alboranía Aula del Mar
Located in the Port of Malaga, the basic objective of the Alboranía Aula del Mar Museum is to showcase the richness and variety of marine life in the Sea of Alborán, the museum's area of scientific influence, its natural areas, its seafaring people and traditions, and to raise awareness in all visitors of the need to care for and protect the marine environment.
The Alboranía Aula del Mar Museum has over thirty aquariums, some for display and some for experiments, with a capacity of 50,000 litres. There are 5 halls occupying 300 square metres, displaying the remains of more than 1,000 species of marine animals (carapaces, shells, bone structures, etc.), in three thematic halls: the marine invertebrates hall, the sharks and rays hall and the maritime vertebrates hall (fish, turtles and cetaceans).
The exhibitions in the halls are complemented with: Man and the sea, the marine Hospital, the Turtle Courtyard and the projection room. In short, exhibitions for discovering, learning and experimenting, audiovisuals for us to submerge and be transported. aquariums for observing marine species in their habitat and, for groups, workshops and itineraries where for you to investigate and take a stroll.

Winter (11 September to 30 June): Monday to Wednesday, 10.30am to 2pm. Monday to Sunday Thursday to Sunday, 10.30am to 2pm and 4.30pm to 6.30pm Summer (1 July to 10 September): Monday to Sunday, 11am to 2pm and 5pm to 8pm. Closed: 25 December, 1 and 6 January.
Adults: 7€. Children (4 to 17), students and senior citizens: 5€. Family rate: €20 two adults and two children.
