Gruta de las Maravillas
The Gruta de las Maravillas is a natural spring of infinite beauty carved over the centuries by nature herself, from elements as simple as water and stone.
This spectacular series of galleries, chambers, lakes and underground watercourses shaped by time and water inside the Cerro del Castillo are formed on Palaeozoic limestone in an enduring and unique karstic system, which is a witness to bygone ages and climates.
It is probably one of the most beautiful and best-preserved grottos in the world.
